I know some people disapproved of the bike lanes but the street is so much better now. It has a real community high street feel unlike the old way which had a get through as quickly as you can bumpy road feel. This has been one of the slowest road construction projects for a project of this scope I've seen in years. If they're using the same paint that they used on the traffic lines they painted last year, the bike lanes will be gone by next summer. Something is better than nothing, but I have to agree with Fred. Is it a chalk base paint?? lol Rode it on Thursday night. The stretch between Eveyln and Gilmour was full of parked cars 🙁 @tlr ridiculous no? There shouldn't be parking allowed IN a bike lane. What the heck is the point?
