There were actually multiple offers for this newly renovated house at Vine and Pacific, proving that the Junction is still a hot spot. The agent did well to schedule the open house during the Junction Arts Festival. The house has been in constant reno status since it was bought, and the sellers made a good investment. It just kind of sucks for the proud buyers when they have their photo taken with the ‘Sold’ sign and it also says ‘Over Asking’.

What a dumb comment from someone who supposedly represents the interests of all the residents in the Junction.
I agree with Louis, the "over asking" add-on is pretty tacky… Love that house actually 🙂
Theirry, you missed his point, he's as happy about the great realestate demand as everyone else, just the "Over-asking" comment on the sign was stupid. 🙂
Why is it tacky? The real estate sign is self promotion for the agent, so showing they can get you more then asking price is a good thing from their standpoint. Who cares about the buyer, they've already signed on the dotted line…. the sign is for the seller. The buyer can rip it to shreds when they take possession and use it as firewood…
