On Monday, March 19, Parkdale Community Development Group will host an art auction fundraiser at Gallery 345 on Sorauren Ave. in support of the Queen West Art Crawl. Sotheby’s Canada will conduct the auction, and Juno award-winning musician, Jane Bunnett, will perform with her ensemble, The Spirits of Havana. There will be some great works of art by local and other Toronto-based artists up for bid, including those created by Shawn Skeir, Frank Trotz, Peter Chung and Charles Pachter. There will also be a silent auction of interesting items that have been donated by Porter Airlines and the Gladstone Hotel, among others.
