Remembering the Junction areas industrial strength though the marketing history of its most iconic businesses has not been an area of research or publication. Yet many of the historic long term companies f the Junction developed string marketing efforts that brought jobs and prosperity to the Junction.
One of those companies Canadian Rogers Eastern Ltd which was located at 108 Vine Ave., now occupied by the Sweet Potato supermarket store, provided major work on Toronto’s current city hall, as well as many well know buildings in the city. The company also made a successful effort to bring business from the United States to be produced at their Vine Ave plant.
