Basin Rd tonight

I came out to Basin Rd to think tonight, it’s quite beautiful most nights. An area of Toronto’s lost industrial heritage.

You can get here from the Junction, by driving accross the city on the expressway east, to when the expressway ends and becomes the Lakeshore Rd. East, proceed east, right at the Esso station cross Commissioners proceed south, at the film studioentrance,  turn left, the only way allowed. Oh and it’s a safe area highly covered by many security firms.

It’s an interesting street because it used to have railway street running. There are railway tracks (not streetcar tracks) in the middle of the road.

…was there for a few hours tonight, the tracks got cleaned along with the roadway while I was there.
