Great the Junction retail still has some recessed facades.

Recessed enterence ways were a almost a every building feature, up until the late eighties I the Junction. It is good to see that stores such as the cycle shop and the optical store still have them even though the facades have been renovated from their original facades.

The Mac and cheese shop however still has its period facade, and has much the same feel as it did in the 70s, when you include the windows cards and items.
Walked though the some Junction areas las night with a person who returned to Malta 21 years ago, and was visiting. She just didn’t remember any window cats when he Junction was in its depression.
