Recommendations

The Director, Transportation Services, Etobicoke York District, recommends that:

1. Etobicoke York Community Council rescind the existing No Stopping regulation in effect from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday except public holidays, on both sides of Junction Road between Old Weston Road and Cawthra Avenue.

2. Etobicoke York Community Council rescind the existing No Parking Anytime regulation on the south side of Junction Road, between Old Weston Road and Keele Street.

3. Etobicoke York Community Council prohibit stopping between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the north side of Junction Road, between Keele Street and Old Weston Road.

4. Etobicoke York Community Council prohibit stopping between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of Junction Road, between Cawthra Avenue and Old Weston Road.

5. Etobicoke York Community Council prohibit parking at any time on the south side of Junction Road, between Cawthra Avenue and Old Weston Road.

Summary

The purpose of this report is to amend the existing No Parking Anytime and No Stopping regulations on the north and south sides of Junction Road, between Keele Street and Old Weston Road, to reflect the existing signage in the field.
Financial Impact

The estimated financial cost of for the supply, installation and repair of signage is approximately $700.00. The funding for these signs is available in the Transportation Services Division’s 2017 Operating Budget estimates.
