Following a link in a comment by A.R. this blog found a very interesting article on the Symes Road Incinerator.
It is quite detailed and interesting.
It is worth the read, he states the need to preserve the building, something which this blog agrees with. Now the building is being transferred to Build Toronto for sale or lease.

I seen a few bums exit this building recently… must have pried a board loose.
Last night I attempted to post a comment here, instead I got frozen out by a message saying I was posting too fast and a demand that I slow down. What is that about?
