Perks, for his part, said the city was hoping to implement the Parkside Drive redesign in two phases, the northern section and the southern section, with phase one to begin this year and phase two next year.
But he (Gord Perks) said he cannot promise a 2025 start date anymore and that the work is “stalled” because of the new provincial legislation.
