3001 Dundas St. West definitely historical loss.

 

 

hiding a very important architectural history of the Junction that will surely be lost to the community the current front of 3001 Dundas St. West covers up a very early Junction building and it’s the only example left of the type in the Junction.
the Site Plan Approval for 3001 Dundas St. West is under review by the city, the current owners plan is to convert the existing 1-storey place of worship into a 5-storey mixed-use building having a residential gross floor area of 1284.43 square metres, and a non-residential gross floor area of 181.94 square metres.
a total of 14 residential dwelling units are proposed.
the Junction BIA has written a letter supporting this development to the city.
