Join us in Welcoming Jean Miso

Author and composer Jean Miso teaches music to children with developmental disabilities. Jean holds a BFA in music composition, a BA in psychology, a BEd and an MEd in curriculum studies.

Jean wrote the song, “We’ll Never Forget/Noublions jamais” for her students to learn for a Remembrance Day service.

Since that time, the song has developed into a book. Jean been invited to Rideau Hall and to several locations in Europe to sing her song. As well, she has received a Veterans Affairs Commendation and a Commander Commendation for this book and another titled, “Their Duty, Our Pride.” On March 17th, her song became the official theme song for the Juno Beach Centre in Normandy, France.

On November 5th, Jean will share her ongoing experiences, from writing songs and books to all the fantastic places they have taken her, and the people she has been privileged to meet!

Jean’s books sell for $22.00 each, and the proceeds from the books are donated to support Remembrance, and to support our current military families. Jean has donated over $42,000.00 towards these causes.
