Ritchie Herman Golden Silver (names of Aves) neighbourhood group has weighed in on the Go Transit Plans with a post on their site.
They bring up an item of the project which has been written about before on this blog, and we agree with this group , more people need to be aware and understand the issue that will be continuing and ongoing – the amount of train travel though the new track corridor.
From their post
Right now we have around 50 trains per day on the line which goes past most of our front doors, taking commuters from Georgetown to downtown. With the expansion, there will be more than THREE HUNDRED per day. That will be one every six minutes.
