This garage is undergoing a wonderful restoration. Part of the work appears to be an effort to retain its original character. Presently the roof load on the south wall has been lifted up to allow the brick and additional repairs to be made to the top oft he south wall.
This effort is admirable as it will definitely assist with the character retention on the avenue where the building is. Also it’s probably is costing a lot more than a simple rework – adding a patch here and there and stuccoing over the building. Yea for the building owner.

Interesting item, but I'm surprised there's been nothing about the renovations at the South-East corner of Keele and Dundas West. I believe that's one of the oldest buildings in the Junction…
Hi Junction Resident,
The Junctioneer had a post about the buliding which you are speaking of a couple weeks ago…here is the link http://breakingprojects.com/junctioneer/?p=4711
Maybe we need an update from anyone who has any info
I took a look at the progress of the south east corner of Dundas and Keele today.
They are definitely fixing up the brick on the first fllor and under some of the old siding is some great brick work. I hope they continue to clean the brick on the second and third floor, rumour has it they had plans to stucco this building.
We'll know more over the next week.
Thanks, Denise!
