The Junction Residents Association would like to thank West Toronto Paint for their generous donation of pool paint and expertise for this face lift to the Vine Parkette Pool.
It was Laura who asked for the paint early in the summer, and received an immediate positive response, and wasn’t even disappointed when she had to return and ask Alan for more paint! It truly was a group effort, with neighbours Derry, Reid and Craig from Vine Ave sweeping and putting down the first coat. Then Genevieve and Dave from Durie Street put the final coat and design. There has been a lot of positive feedback from pool users, and there is hope that the rest of the pool can be painted next season.
