At 108 Vine St. for many decades a metal fabrication business named Canadian Rogers Eastern Limited operating a metal fabrication business that produced some of the most iconic Toronto metal work. Their metal work on the current Toronto City Hall, Is beautiful as well as magnificently crafted. The company produced some amazing advertisement in architectural magazines but recently Globe and Mail newspaper advertisement for the selling of simple steel plate in 1949 by the company giving notice to their steel manufacturing heritage.
The building now houses this week potato grocery store.
