The Canadian Tire Service centre which sat at Keele St, just north of Dundas St. W on the east side, larger than its other centres in Metropolitan Toronto at the time of of its creation was build on a three-acre site where production of the pianos Heintzman Piano and Co. Ltd were manufactured. The property was purchased from Junction Mall Ltd.
