The Globe and Mail newspaper has a photographic page on its website that provides a curated collection of their photographers work over some decades.
In the collection on their website, they have a number of great pictures of the city of Toronto, the collection has one that is particular interest to the Junction where they display a picture of an AP supermarket with people protesting with placards about the high price of food, while walking up and down in front of a Junction supermarket.
Today in 2025 that storefront still exists with the same basic front door entrance but much different façade elements, And the building next-door still has the same tiling on the vertical wall at the front entrance. Also interesting is that the building next-door is of the Amo restaurant a very popular restaurant at the time and into the 70s in the Junction.
Below the blog has highlighted the buildings as they are in 2025 and the tile wall that still exist from 1966.
