On behalf of Co-Director Rob Joy and myself, I am pleased to invite you to The *NEW* Junction Choir’s very first show —- THERE ARE TWO PERFORMANCES ONLY, THIS WEDNESDAY (Jun 18) AND FRIDAY (Jun 20). We will be taking over the fab lower level of SHOX’S, Doors Open at 6:30pm, Show begins at 7pm. Come have a drink, have dinner, hang on the patio b4 showtime!!
It’ll be an oft-moving and def toe-tapping programme which pays tribute to the ‘Bruiser” (see also: “fighting spirit’) within. The group’s OG cast of characters will offer up their take on tunes by Miley Cyrus, Gnarls Barkley, INXS, Gloria Gaynor, Christina Aguelera, Richard Jones, Janet Jackson, REM and more… with Guest Artists Ethelrida Zabala-Laxa, Ardene Shapiro, Rebecca Shapiro and Zan Redcrow (Suzanne Suzanne Hewett).
Part of the evening’s proceeds will benefit a great cause: ‘YEAR 10’ OF FREE MONDAY SING SESSIONS for FOLKS w.LIVED EXPERIENCE in 2025-26.
