Completed window mural for this year’s Window Wonderland festival at @torontojunction ☃️ , done in acrylic & aerosol.
I had the pleasure of being paired with Haveli Home & Decorative Arts, a store selling beautiful furniture & decor from India & surrounding regions. The owner wanted a lotus with the text “peace on earth”. My design was mostly inspired by an intricately woven turquoise chair I saw in the store that featured Suzani embroidery (hailing from Central Asia). The chair is shown on the last slide ???????? highly recommend visiting this shop!
This is one of many window murals that will be featured along the Junction storefronts this winter as part of their Window Wonderland event. Each piece will be animated using Augmented Reality supported by @artiviveapp . This mural will be animated by the talented @szitailustrr ✨ to check out the completed works, visit the Junction any time between Nov 24-Jan 31 ❄️
