Because need in Toronto is at an almost record high, Yonge Street Mission is launching a new family-friendly fundraising walk – our YSM Winter Walk for Neighbours in Need!
It’s happening on Saturday, February 10, 2024 – and it promises to be a memorable and impactful community event, especially with the promise of your support!
As a valued YSM donor, we know you care about struggling Toronto neighbours. And we are so grateful for the ways in which you advance YSM’s important work to change lives, to strengthen community supports for neighbours in need and to transform Toronto as we work to end generational poverty in our city.
With that in mind, we wanted you to know about our YSM Winter Walk, a new and different means to offer support – one with the opportunity to invite your friends and family to also help and participate.
If you’re thinking ‘how can I help?’, please read the three simple things you can do below:
1. Register to walk on Saturday, February 10, 2024. When you do you can use our easy online system to invite donations from friends, family and contacts with a simple email.
2. Don’t want to brave the cold and walk? Instead you can donate, either to the event generally, a team or in support of an individual walker. Take your pick!
3. Not in a position to walk or donate? You can help us spread the word about our YSM Winter Walk, access our social media graphic which you can simply share on any social media platform you use. Thanks in advance for doing so!
